X-Lab is a multimedia laboratory by Cosmopolit Design Studio that focuses on producing and promoting alternative styles of visual entertainment and communication.

Since the early days, in 1999, we have been producing and mixing live visuals at parties and happenings. Whether it is for music gigs or corporate events, we have been asked to create live visual content for many major clubs and promoters in the UK and all around Europe. We always loved to play live at club Indigo, Metropolis, Festival for Electronic Music, Decadance, Solar, Techno Files and Smirnoff Experience.

The main attention of our work lies in mixing and manipulating video-loops. Quite often we use live-cams, so we can integrate DJs / bands and the audience live in the show. The selection of the loops is based on a very emotional basis - it is very impulsive and therefore very dependent of the sound, atmosphere and inspiration.

X-Lab does live-sets only. For that reason performance come into existence, which cannot be repeated the same way. Each show is different, is irretrievable and unique - only for the moment. Here are some of the DJs that X-Lab has performed side by side on various events or produced work for:
